Every Loadmaster trailer is built to order, but strip away the customization and you still get the strongest, most durable frame and parts in the business. Here’s what comes standard on every trailer we build.
You won't find bolted aluminum parts or a tube steel frame. Aluminum doesn't provide the strength we require, and you can't prime or paint the inside of tube steel — trapping moisture and rusting from the inside out. We work only with structural, MIG-welded C-Channel steel, painted or galvanized post-fabrication. Frame sizes: 4", 6", 8" and 8" with a 3" reinforcement bridge.
Designed to slow and stop when you need it. Unlike surge brakes, all-wheel electric brakes are legal in all 50 states and Canada. They're submersible, activate quickly, and work with your foot brake in forward and reverse. Surge drum/disc and electric-over-hydraulic options available.
Set specifically for your boat's hull to protect the keel, stringers, strakes, intakes, steps and fiberglass or wood. Bunks are specially-treated lumber, routed at the edges and covered with marine grade carpet. Bunk glides available.
Step up and secure your boat without slipping. Fenders are structural steel, painted or galvanized to match your trailer.
Epoxy primer, polyurethane paint and clear-coat for a polished, protected finish, then hand-painted pinstripes in the color of your choice. Galvanizing available for saltwater, done post-fabrication for longevity.
Axles set to your boat's center of gravity to regulate tongue weight and distribute load. Drop-center axles carry weight inside the frame for a smoother tow, with equalizers that reduce bumping. Torsion axles optional. Sizes: 3,500 / 6,000 / 7,000 / 8,000 lb.
Every light is LED and protected, even underwater — including marker lights.
Heavy radial tires with silver-coated or galvanized wheels for saltwater, plus numerous aluminum styles. Sizes: 15"C 5-lug, 15"D 6-lug, 16"E 6/8-lug, 17.5"H 8-lug.
Tongue jacks rated to 1,500 / 2,000 / 5,000 / 12,000 lb. of vertical lift. Power tongue jacks available.
Designed specifically for each boat. Lighter trailers get a 1,900 lb. winch with 2" strap; heavier trailers a 3,200 lb. 2-speed manual winch with 3" nylon strap. Power winches available.
Ball sizes from 2" to 2 5/16", plus Pintle, Gooseneck or Fifthwheel setups — sized to the GVWR and braking system you choose.
Proper D.O.T. reflective tape, two safety chains, and a self-charging breakaway system on electric-brake trailers. VIN #, certificate of origin and VIN plate included — plus Recall Clearance Letters for Canadian customers.
Three-year structural warranty, one-year on paint and tires, and five-year on galvanizing. Component warranties (jacks, winches, etc.) pass through from their manufacturers.
